Welcome to Wafu of Japan, where Costa Mesa dines for the freshest sushi and Japanese cuisine. Wafu of Japan was founded in 1999 by sushi chef Hideto "Harry" Arimizu. We offer a variety of Japanese sushi and hot plates that are not only traditional but also modern and unique. Our menu is quite diverse. You will find a large selection of specialty sushi rolls and sashimi using the freshest fish, noodles, rice dishes, soups and salads. Be sure to order some of our customer favorites, like Dragon Balls, Melty Hand Roll, Beef Noodle Soup, Poki Salad and Spicy Tuna Bowl. Pair your delicious meal with a glass of wine or beer from our bar. By bringing our creativity and passion onto our plates, we strive to satisfy each and every customer that comes through our doors. I celebrated my PhD last night in this great restaurant. Well we enjoyed a fantastic evening and the restaurant was unquestionably the reason for that outstanding meeting. We met with friends at this restaurant for lunch. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. Keep it up.
